ICEMCFD ERROR: pIPartMgr->AttachAssembly() failed.
 
Hello Friends,

I have UG NX 10 and Ansys 19.0 installed in my workstation. In attempt to import UG ".prt" file into ICEMCFD; ICEMCFD throws an error message as: ERROR: pIPartMgr->AttachAssembly() failed.


A parasolid exported from same UG .prt then imported into ICEM and this works fine.


I wish to import directly from UG NX 10 or higher versions only, please do help me on this issue ?

I had the same errors but with other file-formats. ANSYS showed me that these were fixed in 19.2. I recommend to use this.

You have to select working points and lines in the option. It worked for me.
