Boundarylayer length

Hi everyone,
I am a student and new to cfd. I use to Icem and Fluend. My English is too bad, so sorry.
I have a project. I must calculate the external flow of nosecone.
My free stream velocity 175m/s.
I can tetrahedra and prism mesh. But I cant understand. Where is boundary layer? I work in the turbulance and I have to know y+. I use to calculate but I dont know what my Bounday Layer :D :D
diameter or perimeter ? Because I dont use flat plate, My geomety is cone (nosecone- parabolic).
My geometry's perimeter/2 =0,36458 mm (flow length)(length of curve)
My diameter = 0,1 m

When I calculate, first length istoo small. Δs=2.2e-6
Its too bad. If I used this value, there is a distance (space, gap ) between the geometry and mesh. And FLuent giving an error.

---Error: Build Grid: Aborted due to critical error.
Error Object: #f
