I have been using Ansys 16.1 Geometry modeler to create a model and i have come across some difficulty regarding the geometry and i hope someone can give me input to solve it. I have attached the pictures regarding the same.
In the pictures you can see that there are 2 rectangular hollow blocks but they are at some distance apart. According to the requirements of the model, both these blocks should join by an extrusion which should connect the faces of both the blocks. But as they are at different angles and elevation and also having different widths, i am not able to find out which function will help me complete it. Please detail me about the solution for the problem and how i can create a hollow section between them which can join both the faces. ansys 2.JPG

Gweher will become famous soon enough
Hi Nauman,

You have to create lines from your 2 sketches and then use the 2x the loft tool to joint the profiles. First the outer profile lines, use "add material" in the properties and the second loft use "cut material" (for the inner profile lines).

If you have access to Spaceclaim you can do it in 1 operation -> select 2 faces and hit "b" for blend option.

Have fun
