Volume orientations problem on first cells boundary layer

Hi,
I have a problem with ICEM. I meshed a semi-wing and the first cell height is 6e-6 in order to have y+ = 1. The problem is that when I set this distance and check the mesh I found some volume orientations problems only in the root section which is adjacent to the simmetry wall. It's quite strage because I don't see any problem in other sections. If I change the first cell height only in the root section and increase to 1.2e-5 the problem disappears. Can someone help me? Hi,
If you have some issues with the mesh normals you can use the reorient mesh tool in ICEM under > Edit Mesh > Reorient Mesh > Reorient Volume > apply This should do the trick. Have fun |
