Ansys Fluent Mesh Inflation direction

2 Attachment(s)
Hello,

I am trying to simulate a very simple case of conjugate heat transfer. In the pic1 the geometry is shown which is a channel with three flow passages. When i insert inflation layers in ansys mesh, they get added to the solid part and not the air domain (pic2). In local inflation method, the geometry selected (scope) was the solid while in the "definition" solid faces were selected through which the air would pass. I want the layers in the flow channel. Please suggest. Thanks

I think you should change your scope geometry to fluid domain.

Hi, thanks a lot. Selecting fluid domain in the "scope" renders the solid wall unavailable for selection in the "definition" tab.

Cheers
