Why can't set geometry in Named Selections?

I am a beginner in using ANSYS fluent.

In order to create different sizing of meshes, I created three components, and Body of influence was used to create the meshes.

When I create the named selections, I met some problems. I created a pressure-outlet smoothly. But when I created the velocity-inlet, when I set the geometry, it always failed. When I click the edge of velocity-inlet and click apply, the edge would add into the geometry but in the geometry, it still said "no selection". I think it may because the pressure-outlet belongs to Component 3 but not belongs to Component 1 and 2, whereas the velocity-inlet belongs to Component 1, 2, and 3.

But I do not know how to overcome this difficulty.
Would you please explain it and teach me how to solve this problem? Thank you!
