Error: face is attached to more than 2 cells
 

Hi, i have a domain that i'm trying to fill with unstructured Mesh. I've do the Volume Mesh with the Prism Layer on some Parts. The meshing executes without any errors but when i try to Output mesh to CFX, i get the message:

Creating a Fluent 3D mesh.
Computing connectivity for 18973070 cells.
Error: face(near node xxxxx) is attached to more than 2 cells.
...."(same error 8 times)".....
Error in computing cell connectivity.
child process exited abnormally


I don't know how to fix this and couldn't find what to do online neither. I'm open to any suggestions and help.

Hello Altosmos, did you figure out how to fix this? I am having the same problem with my 3D mesh

You have to check the meshfor possible errors and let ICEM repair it, if possible. Go to Edit Mesh, take the fourth icon (out of my head) and perform a check. Use default settings.

If ICEM finds the error, see if ICEM can repair it. If not, create a subset to see where the problem occurs and then repair it your self.
