I am new to the ANSYS software, so I have religiously followed a Youtube video: Ansys Fluent Tutorial - Flow over an airfoil. The video focuses on solely an airfoil without a flap, so I reached my errors.

My airfoil is a NACA 2712. I attached two images here where one of them (1) the flapped airfoil is placed on the two left quadrants; on the other one (2), I separated them and placed the flap on the two right quadrants, leaving the airfoil with no flap on the left quadrants.

The error occurs is when I apply a Face Mesh. on the (1), the two left quadrants are not face meshed. While on the (2), only the top left quadrant is face meshed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
