Creating hub to match periodic boundaries

I am working on simulating the aerodynamic and structural performance of a centrifugal compressor. I have been successful doing this for my geometry using only the blades by following the ANSYS tutorial. However, I'd like to add a hub that matches the periodic boundaries. I can easily make a hub using a sketch and a revolve, but I don't know how to limit it to the periodic boundaries. I think I can do this in DesignModeler with a SectorCut, but I've been unsuccessful so far.

I've tried to import my blade geometry from bladegen and create a sectorcut with the resulting bladebody and a hub sketch I create, but I am unable to select the bladebody in sectorcut.

To try and work around this, I made a flowpath, blade and stagefluidzone using the information in the sketches imported from bladegen. I then tried to make a sectorcut. While I could then select the blade I generated and the hub sketch, my sectorcut failed and I got the following error:

Error: Failed to create cutting tool. Please ensure the proper flow type has been selected. Context: SectorCut1.

Can anyone share some insight into what my problem is or provide another method to generate a hub that matches the periodic surfaces?
