How to connect properly different types of mesh

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to mesh a not very complicated geometry, as you can see in the file attached, but since I'm a beginner I want to ask you some questions. There are 3 batteries that I mesh with 1mm hexa mesh elements and 2 cooling plates with 6 channels (rectangular section 1 mm x 1 mm) inside of them. The mesh elements of the channels and the plates are tetrahedrons, but for the batteries I've to use hexa elements in order to correctly use the MSMD battery module in Fluent. Moreover, I've inserted the following mesh commands:
- Face sizing of the contact face between channels and plates: elem. size 0.0005 m;
- Sizing of the channels volume: elem. size 0.0005 m;
- Sizing of the plates: elem. size 0.001;
- Sizing of the batteries: elem. size 0.001;

My questions are:

- since mesh type of batteries is different from that of plates, how can I be sure that the heat generated by the batteries is correctly transmitted to the plates?
- Is the channels mesh a good one?

I already set parameters in the general Mesh panel: Adaptive, fine mesh.

Hope that you can understand from the file attached.
Thanks for the time.:)

I assume shared topology can connect the nodes
