Problem in ICEM block 2D to 3D

hello,
I reedited my thread:

I'm new in ICEM.
Basing on a 2D planar block I want to create a 3D block using "2D to 3D" under blocking
1. but only "translate" worked out and more over
2. after defining the node number in edges of the newly created 3D block, the mesh can only be generated in the original 2D face, along the newly generated direction, nothing

sure, I'm not familiar with ICEM yet, so does someone know, where is the problem?

thank you in advance

Hello Philip,

The option you're using is allowing you to create a 3D blocking. The blocking needs to be associated to "support" geometry. As you didn't create the 3D geometry your 3D blocking will be associated with a 2D geometry.

Have fun ;)

thank you, Gweher, for the reply

hello, Gweher,
