ICEM mesh generation on circular cylinder with many tiny grooves

Dear friends,

Does anyone know how to generate structured mesh around a circular cylinder with many small grooves as shown in geometry 1 and geometry 2. The mesh will go around the cylinder to simulate the fluid flow. I also wanna have good resolutions between the grooves like geometry 3, which is an example I wish to finally achieve.

I totally have no idea about how to associate the block to this kind of structure as the grooves are small and numerous having varied cross-sections along the cylinder's length. Please contact me if there is anybody knows how to solve it. Many thanks!
