Good morning everyone,

I have a minor problem with this mesh, how can I make a radial mesh (or o-ring mesh if you prefer)?
Now the geometry is made of a single body which is the one you see in the pic. Should I divide it in more parts? Should I insert some kind of reference geometry?

Thank you for your help in advance!
L.G.

Hi L.G.,
You can odo this with biased infulation but people generally use multi-body geometries to create o-ring type (nice calling btw) meshes.
"What i mean"
I hope that ive understood you well.

Hi there,

I followed the two methods you suggested and I found out that the second gave better results. The inflation generated elements in the throat with a huge aspect ratio that gave me some problems during convergence.

Thank you again,
L.G.
(thks for the o-ring but i actually read it somwhere else )
