Hello all,
I have a complex body with more than 300 parts. I have given mesh based on body shapes. The mesh is successful. I just want to know that, should we consider only average value for skewness and orthogonal quality or we should also take Min value of the node into account too? (PS: If I don't make any sense in my question please look into attached images) Thanks in advance, Raj |

Good afternoon Raj,
normally the Min and Max values should be your concern, since these are the elements who can be the reason for a divergence of the solution. A target value for the skewness should be < 0.25 but everything below 0.9 is acceptable. For the orthogonal quality, I am not 100% sure. |

As you can see my images. I have some nodes with very low skewness and very low OQ values. But, the average seems to be fine.
What would you suggest me to do now? |

Hello Rajkool,
Please check the figure below for min. ortho and max. skewness. Best regards, Güven |
