Hello all,
A bit of a weird question maybe, but I have a model in which the units are in mm however I want to switch to m. I have made the 0.001 in x y z scaling for the geometry and mesh, but both times ran into a small problem which is that after making the geometry or mesh 1000 times smaller, I cannot see it anymore in the interface. I presume because it is so small, fit to window does not solve it, because it can either not find anything visible or says it has fit to window but I cannot see anyhting.
Can anyone tell me what to do in order to see my mesh or geometry again after I have scaled it down 1000 times.
P.S. If I export the model, I can view it in a mesh viewer and the scaling has indeed happend correctly, however I want to do some mesh checks or make some adjustments to the mesh, but this is not possible if I cannot see or interact with the mesh in ICEM after sclaing it down,

Thanks for your help.
Cheers,
Jack

Hello Jack,

Can you scale it down in parts perhaps? i.e. scale it down by a factor of 100 10 times and keep track of it after each time.

Hello Jack,

Glad I could help. ICEM can be pretty buggy sometimes.
