Hello there,
I was trying to solve a species transport in a simple circular solid. I made the geometry using SpaceClaim and also meshed it. I created name selections to help me in the boundary conditions, but here is the problem, I created an inlet on the side and the outlet on the bottom of the cylinder. But after I import it to a fluent solver the inlet disappeared, I will attach the pic. I think it is because the inlet is surface? I don't know. Can you please help? I really need the inlet in the boundary conditions. Thank you! |

Seems your outlet is a surface (B), not a part of the main cylinder body. You would then have to extrude and join/boolean those two together to have a proper single body.
