Hi all,

I have a number of STL files of an arterial geometry, where one file describes the wall of the arterial tree and the other STL files include the caps for each outlet separately. I wish to create a volume mesh of this geometry in Ansys Meshing, but to prepare the surface I would like to use SpaceClaim.

So I followed this video and I was able to 'merge' the different STL files. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_sIMaid9tQ4 When I load the geometry into Ansys Meshing and click the supposed inlet it selects the entire domain. So it seems that from this video one solid region was created and I can't define a named selection for each cap separately.

How can I merge the STL facets but also distinguish different region for boundary conditions?
