twnspl is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I am doing a project in which I have to compare ANSYS and OpenFOAM simulation results with the same mesh. I am simulating flow over a wing in which I have used a large domain which is far away from the wing and smaller refinement region. I made both the domain and the refinement zone using design modeller. Both are solids which are combined into a part to create conformal meshes. The problem arises when I import this mesh to OpenFOAM using the fluent to foam mesh converter. The inner refinement region appears as a wall in OpenFOAM's boundary file which is causing issues as I want these patches to not be boundary since this affects the results. I have attached the image of the whole domain and the "wall" to this post. Is there any way I can rectify this either in ANSYS or OpenFOAM ? I would really appreciate your help. Thank You !
