Guys, please allow me to take a moment and elaborate on my question
Since the geometry of the computational domain is periodic, I want to generate a grid of basic cells, and then get a grid of the entire model by translating the periodic grid. My steps are 1. Define the geometric model as periodic (Mesh> Global mesh setup>Set up Periodicly); 2. Define the periodic Vertices(Blocking> Edit Block>Periodic vertices),After adjusting the vertice position, the periodic setting of the vertices is deleted; 3. Moved Periodic Blocks(Blocking>Transform blocks>Copy Periodic Blocking) after I copied the grid of a basic cell, I found that the block association generated by translation replication was wrong, as shown in the figure below Don't care of this weird geometric model, this is just a simple model that I made to experiment with how to create a translation periodic grid ANSYS version is 2020R2 Periodic Vertices.png after translation.png |
