I have been looking for a sub-validation that is using a coupling approach -which is preferred in indoor natural ventilation, I tried to keep it simple since I am still learning so I settled with this case.

Cross-ventilation in a generic isolated building equipped with louvers:
Wind-tunnel experiments and CFD simulations

all the information that will allow me to re-create the case is available,
I created the geometry using grasshopper (so I can experiment with it later)

my issue is with the meshing the article kept referring to the surface grid-extrusion technique proposed by van Hooff and Blocken.

Coupled urban wind flow and indoor natural ventilation modeling on a high-resolution grid: A case study for the Amsterdam ArenA stadium

I read the previous article, still don't understand how it was done. and most cases that I found using the coupled approach keep referring to the Surface grid-extrusion technique.

so, please help (I am an architectural student so it was very hard and it took forever to reach this states, I'll be very grateful for any help )

Gert-Jan will become famous soon enough
What is so special about this? This mesh can be generated in the Workbench mesher using the Method Sweep. Select a volume > Right-click to insert method > Select Sweep.

Note that this only works if the volume is sweepable. You can check this by:
Right-click on Mesh > Show > Sweepable Bodies.
If a volume is sweepable, then it will highlight Green.
