Hello,

I am trying to apply LOCAL SWEEP and LEAN change of geometry to my radial pump rotor. Problem is, that with changing leading edge at shroud I get the change to whole blade at shroud, downstream. My goal is to only change it locally at leading edge (at shroud) and then to relatively quickly transition back to original geometry downstream.

I would be really grateful for any insights how to do that in BladeGen. Is there an option to define how quickly modified part of blade goes back to original geometry (sort of locking certain flowpath length in meridional view)?

Uploaded picturtes:
-two pictures of how I achieved sweep and lean at meridional projection window
-two pictures to compare, as an example of how changing loaction of point T2 on shroud affects trailing edge change-which I can not avoid yet.

So my main worry is to stop trailing edge from changing angles and to localize sweep/lean effect as much as possible to leading edge at shroud.

Thank you all for your help!

So far I managed to come closer with changing theta value (on trailing edge of layer 1) to value of my base geometry rotor.

Hello, Im developing a model of radial compressor in BladeGen, the question is, I´m not gonna use vista CCD for a preliminary design, my tutor give me 1D model with inlet and outlet data only (hub and shroud diameters, rotation speed, angles, etc)

The reason I´m writing this is, i want to intrdouce all these data like an imput data in bladegen, so, when I create the model, it only let me introduce coordinates, not absolute values.

For example, the Hub inlet diameter is 60 mm (Im gonna use IS for units, currently living in EUROPE), and Shroud inlet diameter is 90 mm, how i can introduce milimeters ?

I´ve another question, when i create a model, this time using vista CCD, in BladeGen, exactly in the Normal Layer Thickness graph visor, if a wanna know the units of the Y-axis, how can i see it?

Thank you for the attention

Kike.

PD: my english is not soo good, so sorry for that.
