Hi,

I built a model in SpaceClaim made of several components. I also defined Named Selections for each surface (the same component can have several NS with different boundary conditions).
The problem is that, when I import the model into Ansys Meshing (2024 v1 & WT geometry), the program detects both the components and the NS. This is a problem when I try to impose boundary conditions because it is imposible to match them. What can I do?

Kind regards,
Adrián

I too have the same issue. When importing a model with multiple components and named options from SpaceClaim into ANSYS Meshing, I am having trouble assigning boundary conditions due to overlapping or conflicting Named Options. How can I resolve these conflicts and ensure smooth boundary condition setup in ANSYS Meshing?

Thanks in advance.

Gert-Jan will become famous soon enough
If I'm correct there is an "repair" option when using your RMB (right Mouse Button) in the tree of Named Objects.
Something with Repairing Overlapping regions.........
Also, there should be a warming/message in the middle bottom of your screen that guides you in right direction.
