Hi everyone, I'm new to scripting and working with an RPL file that generates a mesh from coordinates and other information. The problem is that when I run the diagnostics, I get the following message:
Running diagnostics for disconnected_vert in subset "all" 1 unconnected vertex was found. A dialog box then asks if I want to delete it, and when I do, everything seems to work fine. However, if I don’t click "Delete," the entire meshing process stops. I need to eliminate this human intervention, as the whole point of a script is to automate the process. Has anyone encountered this issue or knows how to handle it automatically? |

Hi,
you can switch off the unconnect verts check. This check was implemented in early CFD times, when every memory byte was needed. To delete unconnected vertices frees a bit memory. However, does this line help ? # Delete disconnected vertices ic_delete_disconnected_vertices ic_uns_diagnostic subset all diag_type disconnected_vert fix_fam FIX_DISCONNECTED_VERT disp_subset uns_diag_0 diag_verb {Unconnected vertices} fams {} busy_off 1 |

Hi,
Thanks for sharing your solution! I was able to fix the issue by working on the smoothing process. I intended to solve that unconnected vertex before it showed up, but your answer solved the problem as well. Thanks again! Best regards! Best regards! |
