Hi everyone, I'm new to scripting and working with an RPL file that generates a mesh from coordinates and other information. The problem is that when I run the diagnostics, I get the following message:
Running diagnostics for disconnected_vert in subset "all"
1 unconnected vertex was found.

A dialog box then asks if I want to delete it, and when I do, everything seems to work fine. However, if I don’t click "Delete," the entire meshing process stops. I need to eliminate this human intervention, as the whole point of a script is to automate the process.
Has anyone encountered this issue or knows how to handle it automatically?

Hi,

you can switch off the unconnect verts check. This check was implemented in early CFD times, when every memory byte was needed. To delete unconnected vertices frees a bit memory.

However, does this line help ?

# Delete disconnected vertices
ic_delete_disconnected_vertices
ic_uns_diagnostic subset all diag_type disconnected_vert fix_fam FIX_DISCONNECTED_VERT disp_subset uns_diag_0 diag_verb {Unconnected vertices} fams {} busy_off 1

Hi,
Thanks for sharing your solution!
I was able to fix the issue by working on the smoothing process. I intended to solve that unconnected vertex before it showed up, but your answer solved the problem as well.
Thanks again!
Best regards!

Best regards!
