I need to use Spaceclaim at the last stage of CAD generation to make using Ansys meshing in Pyfluent.
So far my workflow is to create a watertight geometry in Blender, then export the STL files and import into Spaceclaim. I have started with a simple channel flow geometry as a test case. I want to know what is the bare minimum required to start automatic meshing. I have created named selections (for the inlet, outlet, walls), but I am not sure what else. Pyfluent isn't happy with this geometry for some reason, and I think it's because I have only so far imported STL files. Many thanks. |

I should say that I have previously used SnappyHexMesh, which really only requires STL files as input, and you configure the rest of the workflow in your SHM dict file.
