Hi guys, I am currently conducting a CFD analysis on a 3D wing in Ansys Fluent. During the DesignModler geometry setup, the enclosure, boolean, and symmetry features worked perfectly; however, when I try to run a mesh on my wing, the system shows the error message: "The surface mesh is intersecting or close to intersecting, making it difficult to create a volume mesh. Please adjust the mesh size or adjust the geometry to fix the problem." Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this issue?
Note: I used a 26mm element size initially with a wing chord of 10.2 inches, lowered down to 16mm, and eventually 10mm, but it all shows the same error message. Note: I contacted my CAD technician, he told me there's no geometry issue in Solidworks, and I use ANSYS Discovery to check for geometry errors on the wing, and nothing is popping up to indicate there is a geometry issue |
