Practically, interior doesn't mean anything. A surface is there without any function. (interior like the whole volume is). You cannot adjust anything.
Internal can have some specific properties (thickness e.g.) |

I am working in a heat transfer over a fins with an inlet velocity of 1m/s and heat flux of 100W amd everytime I run it in fluent I get this
Error: FLUENT received fatal signal (ACCESS_VIOLATION) 1. Note exact events leading to error. 2. Save case/data under new name. 3. Exit program and restart to continue. 4. Report error to your distributor. Error Object: () Does anybody know how I can fix my error and where can I get a explanation of my error Thank you |

hi,
even im working on the flow over fins. I got that error and was able to rectify it.. what are your boundary conditions? in my case i have modeled a tube (water flowing through)a nd air flowing across.. the tube runs through a fin like a heat exchanger. i am having trouble giving the boundary conditions for the tube walls. any suggestions? |

Interior simply means they are fluid edges, not walls or anything else. I got the information from the following URL: http://www.mne.psu.edu/cimbala/Learn...it_airfoil.htm Have fun. Shengyi |
