Dear friends
I have created a tube with height 1420mm and radius 37mm. I have split the tube face into two (lengthwise at centre) so that I have a top face (top wall) and a bottom face (bottom wall). This would allow me to apply two different boundary conditions on the same tube. I exported the mesh but when I read the case only one face (bottom wall) is being shown in Fluent.

Please can you assit me. How do I go about so that all the walls will be visible in Fluent.

Thank you,
Milton

No I did not receive any warning. I have three wall-BC the top wall, bottom wall and open end on one end of the tube.

ok that means that you set all the extern faces with BC.
If you missed to set any BC, Fluent should create a default "wall" BC.
When you display the grid, you didn't see the top wall? (display faces, enable light and rotate)

The top wall is there on the grid but is missing on the list surfaces, so am unable to set boundary conditions on it. I did create it in Gambit.

you can direct emailed me the dbs file if it is less than 10MB(click on my name and you will have the opportunitiy to mail me)
Or you can upload it on a share server like rapidshare (www.rapidshare)
, and you just have to give the link you receive once it is uploaded
