[ICEM] Prism mesh height

Hi.. I have a few questions..
can anyone tell me how can I determine the height of prism mesh?...what is the recommended height...please direct me to some source where it explains how can I determine that..

when I plot the y+ value in Fluent...from a surface..in my case a simplified car...what is the y value that is used to calculate this y+..is it the centroid of first cell next to the surface?

Yes, in Fluent Y is the centroid of the first cell

Hi...I read the post you referred to..It does not discuss the recommended height to resolve the boundary layer adequately...I read in fluent users manual that the y+value should be in the rage of 30 to 300...and from my understanding....one needs to calculate the reynolds number based on appropriate characteristic length, the height of boundary layer, the friction velocity and then use the y+ formula..I believe it wont be very accurate but what do you think...please correct me if I am wrong..
