Hi,

I have found that when I have MATLAB R2009 installed on the same PC as ICEM, ICEM v12 automatically closes when importing in a file using the Workbench Reader (I use this to import ANSYS DesignModeler files). I'm using Windows 64bit OS and the 64bit versions of ICEM and MATLAB.

But when MATLAB is uninstalled a file can be imported in using Workbench Readers and ICEM stays open and grid generation can be conducted.

Has anybody else had this problem? I've spoken to ANSYS here in the UK but they don't know why this is happening.

PSYMN, maybe you can help with this one.

Thanks.

Just installed MatLab R2009b and the problems with ICEM 12.0 Workbench Readers have disappeared.
