What a Strange Drawing in GAMBIT...

3 Attachment(s)
Dear Friends!!!
I'm Drawing an Airfoil. I use GAMBIT 2.3.30. I take every point of the airfoil >> Import by "ICEM Input" >> Vertex Plot Format >> i use combination of NURBS, Straight, Conic to draw airfoil. The result is good. But After I save and then open it again. The drawing became strange.
I've repeated my steps more than one time. but it's useless.

What's wrong with my step??
Could you help me, please??

Thanks
teguhtf

PS. I've attached my drawing result.
AFTER = After I open and close
BEFORE = Before I open and close
VERTEX PLOT = After I import point by using ICEM Input

Hi,

have you checked out the website:
http://courses.cit.cornell.edu/fluent/airfoil/step1.htm

That is very helpful for importing airfoils.
Just make sure your file with the points is saved as a .dat file (can be done using editor and saving in the name box as:
Naca4412.dat ). Also make sure you have the same number of points for the top and bottom side, so you can plot both curves (tick plot curves, before you click import).

Hope that helped

Thanks for your help Karatix
My problem has been solved!!:D
The solution is the line must not be merged as one line. but keep it become more than one line. The shape of the line will be the same when we open and close file or just scale it.:)
