Hi all,
I defined a region in CFX-mesh called 'wall', and these areas defining the region 'wall' will have inflation applied. an error from CFX-mesh is below: The location wall refers to 12 primitive regions that do not appear in the geometry. These regions are F4439.4437 ........ In the end, volume mesh is generated BUT with the inflation ignored or not produced. Why does this error occurs please? Has it something to do with my imported CAD please? I can select the areas which defines the location 'wall' in CFX-mesh. I can still import this mesh into CFX-pre but the named 'wall' doesn't exists, and other region names don't appear for selection either. i'm using ANSYS WB v11, CFX-Mesh v11.0, on a Win Vista 64-bit machine. Thank you for your kind attention and i look forward to hear of any suggestions/comments. Regards, mactech001 |

You have to reselect the wall regions for the inflation to apply to.
