Dear PSYMN
Now there is another problem, the mesh generated through this method is looking absurd as you can see in attachments. I suppose i will have to further split blocks, as you have done in your illustration(4th blocking ). I tried that as well (by taking different combinations of faces) but couldn't get that kind of blocking. So i need your help a bit more..!! There is some problem with image uploading, i will do that soon. Thanks & Regards Pradeep Pandey |

Thanks to all for bearing with me...!!
I successfully created mesh in an U bend tube... Suggestions provided by PSYMN & Jeevan were really helpful... Thanks again.. |

Hi,
I followed your steps but I cannot figure out how to adjust the blocking so it can fit the U-pipe after creating the O-grid. I tried moving vertices around and associating edges to the inlet and outlet but it does not give me a uniform mesh. The mesh is very skewed. So, how do you adjust the block after creating the O-grid, which is the last step in your illustration above? |

How do you perform the last step in the top-down method? I created an O-grid and deleted the center block but then cannot get a good mesh quality. I tried slicing the blocks and moving vertices around to fit my geometry but I obtain a very bad mesh quality
