-mAx- will become famous soon enough
create the face you want to extrude.
Then use the sweep face tool, type perpendicular, enable twist option, and finally give the right angle

i want first to develop 2D geometry of single and double screw extruder .Pl narrate steps in developing their geometry in gambit And further to mesh it using mesh superposition technique for simulation in fluent

I have created circular face for extrusion and swept the face giving type perpendicular and twist option and giving angle of 180 Volume is created with circular face at the other end too. I swept faces in small segments along small edges making zig zag volume with circular face after each segment. Please some body tells is it correct method? what is next?

extract fluid domain.
Create a surrounding volume (containing your 2 screws) and substract this volume with the 2 others (boolean operation)

I have created geometry of single screw extruder in gambit .Now i have to simulate two immiscible fluids. Is fluent 6 is applicable ? what sort of model is applicable? Two fluids are liquids one being highly viscous

i am using VOF model for mixing of Ethylene vinyl chloride and ethylene glycol Boundary conditions are moving reference frame of moving fluid and stationary wall inlet is pressure inlet ,the dimensions of single screw is 30mmdia &45 mm screw length on iteration flow is reversed and after 5 -6 iteration error pl help to getout of it
