simulation of 3 d centrifugal pump
Hi! Im simulating 3 d geometry of a pump having a regenerative impeller. Although the file is read in FLUENT, I'm not able to define the turbo topology for the same. Can anybody help me wid da same??? :confused:

i am also working in the same area but couldn't give the turbo topology correctly for 3D . I have a problem in specifying Theta min and theta max.

Could any one please help...

Actually I am analyzing a centrifugal pump (full 3D model) with casing.While i define in the turbo topology in the boundaries I select Hub-the hub,Casing - the casing (outer domain),Blades- the impeller blades, Inlet -inlet of the impeller, Outlet- Outlet of casing after selecting these and defining I get this error
"Not Valid Topology: Not defined"

I have also selected only for the impeller like

out let -The interface of impeller
Blades-impeller vanes

i get the same error.Not Valid Topology: Not defined

Should i define anything about the theta...

did you specify the correct thetta angle in periodic condition panel

Actually i have done the analysis for full 360 degree if i take a part of it only i have to specify the periodic condition.....
