[GAMBIT] Gambit Installation Serious Problem,,,,,

Hi all,

I installed gambit on my 32 bit machine.
i got an error / message while starting up gambit as follows....

" Locating Exceed installation ...
Launching Exceed 11 ...
Starting C:\Fluent.Inc\gambit2.4.6\ntx86\gambit.exe -device open -id default_id2088 -new ...
Gambit build SP2007051421.
[gambit]
Cannot open connect stream.
TRANS(SocketINETGetAddr): tnamebysocket() failed
TRANS(SocketINETConnect): TRANS(SocketINETGetAddr) () failed
TRANS(Open): transport open failed for tcp/acer-b:0
Unable to open display......."

please help me out to sortout this problem,,,

Hi all,

Please somebody help me to sort out this problem..........

I have install Fluent also & its working great....only the thing is Gambit is not get started after so many iterative trial.......i did reinstall so many times but No solution.

is it because of Hummingbird or Exceed version. Currently i have configured Exceed 6.0 for 32 bit.

Hi devesh I am also facing the same problem. When I am going to open Gambit I see "X Server for Windows 2000/XP/2003 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.................."
