Hello,

i'm learning ansys workbench and i have problem:

i have two materials in one solid model ( stall and aluminum for example), how should i say to the program to connect those two solids with different materials properties ? I know how to add different properties to parts but after meshing program see my object as two solid models


please help

If you want things connected node for node (mesh level), you need to make a multi-body part. This is done in DM (or SpaceClaim) and is created similarly to an assembly...

Alternatively, you could use bonded contact, which can "glue" together two parts with dissimilar meshes. Contact can be applied automatically or manually. Look it up in the help.
