Default error in gambit

Hi
I have a problem, when i go to mesh a cylinder gambit show me this error:
projection intervall count for periodic submap of face must be bigger than zero.
what does it mean?

are you setting an interval count (number of nodes) instead of interval size?

i used an interval count (number of nodes) in the edge. thanks for reply and i would ask you if the following way is correct. i have split the cylinder in other so i can do the mesh.
however how can resolve the problem if it occurs in the future?

i have given 14 nodes.
i have another problem when i go to mesh the side surface of a cylinder the mesh rotate how can i do to have a linear mesh?

the message prompted from gambit sounds like you gave a negative value, or something weird.
