Dear all,
I have always used Gambit as preprocessor for buiding the geometry and mesh my sim, ullations models. Now I am trying to start some 3D models more complicated and I will work with Solidwork and ICEM Flow, and I have lot of doubts. I want to import directly the geometry from SolidWorks but it seems as ICEM didn-t recognice that I have SolidWork on the computer. I would like to know how I must configure ICEM to do it or how I could import the geometry. Thaks a lot in advance C. Lucero |

Hello Lucero,
Not sure if you tried this one, but as i know, you should export (or save as) your SolidWorks data to ".IGS". Then on ICEM, you use "File>Import Geometry>STEP/IGES" command. This way you import your geo into ICEM. Hope it helps, Ersin |
