Question about boundary type recognition when import mesh from IcemCFD to Fluent

Hi all,
First of all, thank you for viewing my post.I am trying to make a pipe with velocity-inlet (in the center)and pressure-inlet(around previous one with cirque shape) at one side of the pipe, the other side is pressure-outlet by using ICEM. when i use tetra meshing, it was perfect
read by Fluent with boundary condition. however, when i try to use hex meshing, there always omit the center part which defined in ICEM, only read these two parts as a entity(a round surface boundary),the name is recognized as either velocity-inlet or pressure-inlet. i need to use VOF model in Fluent. hope you can help me which i really appreciate:) Have a nice day!

i think i have solved this now, thank you all :)

but how about a quarter or semi-cylinder assosication?

How did you solve it?

I assume the problem had something to do with associations or blocking material?

Since you solved the problem yourself, how about posting what it was so others who may be having the same problem can fix it also.

Hi Simon,

Thank you for replying my post.i change to O-grid to apply blocking assosiation.and, is that you put lecture on the youtube?i really like it :)
have a nice weekend
