How to convert a 2D pipe geometry to 3D?

Hi,
I have a 2D geometry in Gambit (axial and radial ie. x,y)and need to convert it to 3D by adding another coordinate. Please advise.
Thanks

Basically you can use Sweep Faces for extrusion, or Revolve Faces for revolution.
Or you can also try this: (sweep Faces with path)
Attachment 3802

Thanks Maxx, I have revolved the faces and edges. Actually, I'm not having a smooth straight pipe but it has a constriction (vena contracta). I got the 3D geometry by revolving but Gambit was not reading it as a volume. Once i convert it to volume , then i can start meshing. The thing is, how make it as volume? I look at 3D meshing tutorials, it all start with creating volume.

*either you do your revolving with Volume/Revolve (from a face)
*or yo keep what you did, and you create your volume with stitch face (you will need to close your volume, by creating some faces --> enable shaded mode on, it will help you to see which face you need to create)

Max, do you know what this error means?
ERROR: Cannot create ACIS BODY. Is this an open shell?

The error means what I mentionned earlier: you need some faces to close the volume.
enable shaded mode on, you will see where you need to close your volume

enable shaded mode on. Maybe you will see any missed surfaces.
