HI,
I need help in modeling bodies in fluid volume. I used gambit before and all I had to do was subtract the object from the fluid domain. Now, I am using ANSYS workbench 12.1. I tried the enclosure command but I am not so sure how it works. How could I make the object hollow and the domain meshed ? Thank you |

hi,
use the boolean body operation (subtract) after freezing everything. before that you have to create your exterior and your body-to-subtract. you also can slice a body by other bodies, ending up in lot of bodies and then just simply delete everything you don´t need (body operation delete). neewbie |

Hi,
I am a new user of Ansys and I need to know how can I join tow body in 3D? I knew how to do that in SOLIDWORKS but here it does not work in that way. Can anyone please help me? Regards, Debashish |

Debashish,
Do you want to join two bodies into a single body or make a multi-body part so they are still meshed as two bodies, but with conformal mesh where they meet? Simon |
