Dear all,
I created the geometry of a pump rotor in ProE, copy/paste to get the surface all in one, added this surface to a layer and exported this surface to a tetin file. The attributed surface mesh in the recorded ICEM-replay file looks like ic_set_meshing_params surface {ROTOR/2842 ROTOR/2841 ROTOR/2840) As u can see, the rotor still consists of several surfaces. Is there a possibility to get the surface mesh attributed to the part ROTOR which shows up in the ICEM model tree and independent from the ROTOR/xy ?? Thank you for your help! cheers, martin |

got it!
Instead of picking the surfaces of a part separately, one should use the "Part Mesh Setup". It s the ic_geo_set_family_params ROTOR no_crv_inf prism 0 emax 9.0 ... command in the replay file. martin |
