ymabreu is on a distinguished road
Hello.

I created a geometry (in this case a
cistern with a pipe connected) to form a fluid volume in what would be an analysis systems "Fluid Flow (FLUENT)" ANSYS Workbench. What I want is to know if I can mesh parts, more detailed and structured in the pipeline, and otherwise in the tank.

In advance thank you very much.

Excuse my poor inglish.

Yes, you can. You just need to slice the geometry into a multibody part. For instance, if you sliced the pipe off the cistern, you could use tetra prism on the cistern and sweep the pipe. There are demos for how to slice and dice.

Another option is to use the MultiZone Method, which does some auto decomposition work on its own. It may be able to sweep everything without even subdividing.
