Question
i am meshing a corrugated airfoil in gambit for analysis at Re= 34000 and i will be using some turbulent model for analysis (the model s not selected till now) 1. i understand that there is GUI on internet to calculate ds, when you give Re, ref length and Y+ as input but that GUI doesnt explain the theory and logic behind its use Is there any other way to calculate the value of ds and calculate the value of Y+ reference of books, papers etc or mathematical relations with referrence are requested. well aamer
the value of Y+ is different for different model.........i ll give you the rough idea of this Y+ ~ 1 when using k-w model Y+ ~ 30 when using k-e model |
