Hello everybody,

i get the following error message in GAMBIT:

ERROR: The key, 0XAF8A, already exists in this HashTool
ERROR: Assertion failed in MinMeshBase.cc, line 204: 0 while meshing volume.

Does anybody know how to deal with this problem and what the possible reasons are?

Thanks in advance!

If anyone is interested, i found the reason for the problem:

There were stand alone vertices on a face of the volume. In some cases Gambit is able to mesh such geometries, in other cases it's not possible. So it's better to avoid it if possible.

Best regards

Hi, is there anyway to find out the stand alone vertices and deleted them, then will be able mesh the domain? or need to reconstruct the model?

thanks a ton!
