Error: Operation would result in Non-Mainfold geometry

Hi,

I am setting up steady-state turbine model. I firstly created the turbine blade surfaces with rhinoceros, then exported in solidworks and saved as a parasolid. I imported the geometry as a frozen solid and created a fluid domain around it.

However when I perform a boolean or body operation to cut or subtract the turbine material from the fluid domain I get the following error:

Error: Operation would result in Non-Manifold geometry

I tried basic geometries such as cylinders, cubes, etc., and I don't get any errors.:confused::confused:
Is there a problem with the geometry before I imported it or is anyone aware of any solutions within Design modeller. (I have imported diagnostics in solidwork and amended any surfaces or gaps with the geometry)

Many thanks in advance for any help given.
