CATIA convert into GAMBIT
 
hello there..i am new to the CFD software..may I know if a 3D model developed using catia can be transferred into GAMBIT for meshing purposes??

yes you can.
catia v4 (*.model)
cata v5 (*.CATP*r*t)
Else you can import in STEP, IGES, Parasolid, etc...
I personly import STEP files from proE, without any problem
