Joining Swept block with Structured blocks

Hello there,
I am using Icem to grid a compressor. Unfortunately I found a triangular face in the diffusor and I had to grid it using a swept block. However, I am not sure about which would be the best way to join it with the remaining structured blocks. Please, seee the picture below. Thank you very much [/IMG] [/IMG] |

You can not join the square side of a mapped block to the source or target (in this case triangular) face of a swept block.
Even if the swept block had source and target faces with 4 corners, you could not join them. You can add another swept block and continue the swept blocks out thru to the boundary of the blocking. Or, instead of a swept block, you could have used a Yblock (really three mapped blocks in a "Y" or quarter ogrid configuration) and extended that out to the surface of the model... |
