Meshing a sphere using ICEM

Hi,

I'm trying to study flame propagation in a sphere, i.e. ignition occurs at the centre of the sphere and propagates radially outwards (much like an explosion).

I've decided to use ICEM-CFD for the meshing and it was straight-forward to create a sphere and obtain an O-grid. I'm obviously interested in correctly meshing the volume inside this sphere and I'm not sure whether this is the best meshing strategy to use. Ideally I'd like to use a structured mesh.

Yes, an Ogrid is by far the best and easiest way to mesh a sphere...

The choice of structured or unstructured is a separate question (The hexa ogrid can be output as either), and is mostly determined by the needs of your solver.
