I installed ANSYS V13.0 on my windows vista pc. I installed ANSYS 13.0 with all the sub programs; AQWA, ASAS, Fluid dynamics, APDL and more! And I installed the License manager too. But I have a problem to start Ansys. There is a problem, see first figure. After I clicked on "OKAY" then the next figure appeared.

I think there is a problem in de ANSLIC_AMDIN lincense manager. If you look in the third figure, @ left bottom, there is a figure called PC status. Everthing is running, except the FLEXlm. I think the problem is solved if i can start FLEXlm running, but i don't know how?

Probably a problem with lmgrd.exe.

Ctrl-alt-delete to pull up your task manager... Find the lmgrd.exe and kill the process. You may even have several, kill them all.

Then go back to the ANSYSLIC Manager and hit the button to stop everything, and then hit the button to restart the license manager... This should restart lmgrd.exe so flex lm will be running.

I don't know why flexlm does that on windows some times...
